KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association has announced its Men’s Golfer of the Week for the first week of the 2023 Spring Season.
 
MIAA Golfer of the Week – Marius Dosiere – Missouri Western
Marius Dosiere capped off his stay in Goodyear, Arizona, with his first collegiate win. The freshman was crowned champion at the Maverick Desert Classic and earned the Griffon Men’s Golf team their second first-place finish of the season. Dosiere finished 6-under-par, scoring 68 in round one and 70 on round two for a total score of -6, 138. He also finished tied for the most birdies in the tournament with 11.
 
NOTABLE PERFORMANCES
Caleb Kimmel – Central Oklahoma
Caleb Kimmel finished fourth in the Arkansas Fort Smith’s Hardscrabble Invitational earlier this week, finishing the 54-hole event with a 7-over-par, 217. The Bronchos junior started the tournament with a 2-over 72 in round one and followed with a 1-over 71 in the second round. In the final round, Kimmel shot a 4-over, 74. He totaled six birdies and 35 pars for the tournament.
