2022-23 MIAA Men's Golfers of the Week (Week 1)

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The MIAA announced its second men’s golfer of the week for the 2022 fall season. Missouri Southern’s Tradgon McCrae earned the golfer of the week honor for the second consecutive week.  
 
MIAA Golfer of the Week – Tradgon McCrae – Missouri Southern  
Tradgon McCrae defeated all MIAA opponents with a 13-under par performance over 54 holes to took home the individual championship at the 24th annual NSU Fall Classic hosted by Northeastern State University at Muskogee Country Club. His three-round total of 200 (64, 66, 70) is the lowest 54-hole score in MSSU program history. McCrae had four birdies over the final 18 holes to hold onto the individual title, winning by one stroke for his first-ever solo championship. Overall, McCrae lead the field with a total 17 birdies over the three rounds. The senior led the Lions to a third-place team finish with a total score of +5, 857.
 
NOTABLE PERFORMANCES
Carlos Gomez – Northeastern State
Carrlos Gomez was the runner-up at the NSU Fall Classic earlier this week with an 11-under par performance, leading the RiverHawks to a fourth-place team finish. Gomez flirted with the lead for most of the final round and managed to get within a stroke following a birdie on the 16th pin. His attempt would end when he was stuck on an uphill birdie shot off the green on 17.  The chip-in shot carried well past the pin and back off the green, where Gomez needed to two-putt and take a bogey. The senior finished with a three-round, 54-hole total of 202.
 
Marius Dosiere – Missouri Western
Marius Dosiere led the Griffons at the NSU Fall Classic earlier this week with a 54-hole total of -4, 209 (71, 69, 69) to finish in a tie for fifth. Dosiere carded 13 birdies over the three rounds.
 
Cade Uhlenhake – Washburn
Cade Uhlenhake tied for fifth at the NSU Fall Classic, carding a 54-hole score of -4, 209 (70, 69, 70) to lead Washburn to a second-place team finish. The junior also led the Ichabods with 12 total birdies.
