KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The MIAA announced its first men’s golfer of the week for the 2022 fall season. Missouri Southern’s Tradgon McCrae and Rogers State’s Daniel Robles share week one’s MIAA Golfer of the Week title.
 
Co-MIAA Golfer of the Week – Tradgon McCrae – Missouri Southern  
Tradgon McCrae led the way for Missouri Southern at this week’s Arch Cup in St. Louis. The Lion’s senior shot a one-under par 70 in round one and two under par 69 in round two to finish three-under par for the tournament at 139. McCrae had three birdies in each round to finish tied for eighth place individually while the Lions finished sixth.
 
Co-MIAA Golfer of the Week – Daniel Robles – Rogers State  
Daniel Robles opened the the season in a three-way tie for third at the NCAA Midwest/Central Super Regional Preview this week. Robles carded a 144 (+2) and lead the Hillcats to a tie for eighth place team finish. The sophomore was the highest finisher from the five MIAA teams in the tournament.
 
NOTABLE PERFORMANCES
Dawson Wills – Washburn
Dawson Wills helped lead Washburn to a second-place team finish at the NCAA Midwest/Central Super Regional Preview after shooting scores of 72 and 73 on each day to tie for sixth place overall. The Ichabods senior had five birdies in the tournament and never shot more than one over on any hole.
