Kansas City, Mo. – Northeastern State shot a 321 the final day and held off a charge by Lindenwood to win the MIAA Women’s Golf Championship on the par 72, 5,893 yard Swope Memorial Golf Course.
 
Lindenwood shot the low round of the day at 313 to finish second overall with Central Oklahoma coming in third. Missouri Western and Central Missouri rounded out the top five for the week.
 
Individually Dakota Limkemann of Lindenwood shot a 75 on the final day to win medalist honors. Baylee Price of Northeastern State was second with Central Oklahoma’s Marla Souvannasing coming in third. Sydney Roberts of Central Oklahoma and Halie Wright of Northeastern State tied to round out the top five who earned all-tournament honors.
 
Northeastern State earns the automatic qualifier into the NCAA Tournament while all others teams will await the announcement of the field Monday, May 1 at 3 p.m.
