KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Pittsburg State men's track and field coach Russ Jewett and Lincoln women's track & field head coach Victor Thomas were named 2014 MIAA Indoor Track & Field Coaches of the Year, the league office announced Tuesday.

Jewett has been named the MIAA Coach of the Year a record 31 times between indoor and outdoor track and field and cross country. He wins the award after leading his team to their first indoor championship since the 1995 season.

Thomas wins his fourth straight award after leading Lincoln to their fourth straight women's indoor title.
