KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association has announced its third Men's Golfer of the Week in the 2025 fall season. Two MIAA student-athletes tied for a third place individual finish at the Skip Wagnon Invitational earlier this week to claim Co-Golfer of the Week honors.
MIAA MEN'S CO-GOLFER OF THE WEEK: Baylor Bostick, Central Oklahoma
Baylor Bostick led No. 4 Central Oklahoma to a second-place finish at the Skip Wagnon Invitational presented by Visit Edmond at KickingBird Golf Club this week. Bostick shot a 9-under-par 207 in the tournament, lowering his score by three strokes each round. He opened play with an even-par 70 on Monday and shot a 3-under 67 later in the day during the second round. On Tuesday, Bostick finished up the tournament with a 6-under 64. Bostick sank 14 birdie putts this week and 35 par putts with only five bogeys through 54 holes of play in Edmond.
MIAA MEN'S CO-GOLFER OF THE WEEK: Britten Coy, Missouri Southern
The Lions were led by Britten Coy at the UCO Skip Wagnon Invitational. He capped off the tournament with a lights-out final round, carding a 64 (-6) to finish 9-under for the event—placing third in the invitational and leading the lions to a third place finish out of 18 teams. This is Coy's best finish in his career.
OTHER NOTABLE PERFORMANCES:
CJ Phillips, Central Missouri
Central Missouri junior CJ Phillips had a career performance at the Missouri Western State Holiday Inn Express Invitational, capturing his first individual tournament title. Phillips fired a 7-under-par 64 in the second round, the lowest score of the tournament, to finish with a 2-under-par 140. His stellar play helped lead the Mules' A team to a second-place finish, highlighted by the lowest team round of the day at 285 (+1).
