KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association has announced a new women’s Golfer of the Week in the 2025 season. All 13 MIAA women’s golf teams were in Warrensburg, Missouri, earlier this week for the Midwest Classic. Central Missouri’s Mia Rallo led the Jennies to a first-place finish to earn the latest MIAA Golfer of the Week honor.
MIAA WOMEN’S GOLFER OF THE WEEK: Mia Rallo, Central Missouri
Mia Rallo was the individual runner-up at the Midwest Classic, hosted by the Jennies at Mules National Golf Club in Warrensburg, Mo. The senior shot a three-round score of 207 (-3) with rounds back-to-back even-par 70s and a final round of 67 (-3). Her final-round 67 was the lowest score of the day and helped the Jennies secure the team tournament win with an overall score of 871 (+31). It was the second consecutive tournament title for the Jennies and third overall this season.
OTHER NOTABLE PERFORMANCES:
Susana Granados Carrion, Washburn
Susana Granados Carrion finished third in the Midwest Classic with a 54-hole total of 213 (+3). The junior carded rounds of 72 (+2), 70 and 71 (+1) to help the Ichabods tie for fourth in the event.
Katarina Chynoranska, Missouri Southern
Katarina Chynoranska led the Lions at the Midwest Classic, held at Mules National Golf Course in Warrensburg earlier this week. Chynoranska finished fifth overall with a final card of 215 (+5) to land a spot on the UCM Midwest Classic All-Tournament Team. The junior improved each round with scores of 73 (+3), 72 (+2), and an even-par 70. For Chynoranska, it's her second top-five finish this fall and third top-ten finish this season. Missouri Southern finished tenth overall in the field of 14.
