MSSU'S PRINCE NAMED TO DIVISION II ALL-STAR GAME

Will play with West squad in the 2016 game scheduled for March 25

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Missouri Southern senior forward Taevaunn Prince has been selected to play in the 2016 National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Reese's Division II College All-Star Game, which will be played as part of the 2016 NCAA Division II Men's Elite Eight in Frisco, Texas.

Prince was selected as one of 10 players to the West squad that will be coached by former Pittsburg State head coach Gene Iba. The teams are composed of two senior student-athletes from each of the eight regions in Division II and four at-large selections. All players that have been selected have earned NABC All-District honors.

Prince was a First Team All-District selection by the NABC and a First Team All-MIAA selection after averaging a league best 26.4 points per game to go along with 10.1 rebounds per contest.


The game will be played on Friday, March 25 at 7:00 p.m. CDT at the Dr. Pepper Arena in Frisco, Texas.
