KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association has announced new football athletes of the week from the fourth week of the 2025 season, presented by
FieldTurf. Four student-athletes collected weekly honors in week four with Nebraska Kearney’s Isaiah Harris and Central Missouri’s Jordan Pachot named Co-Offensive Athletes of the Week, Northwest Missouri’s Clayton Power named the Defensive Athlete of the Week, and Central Oklahoma’s Joseph Kim named the Special Teams Athlete of the Week.
CO-OFFENSIVE ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Isaiah Harris, RB, Nebraska Kearney
Working around leg cramps, Isaiah Harris ran 24 times for 270 yards and four touchdowns in Nebraska Kearney’s 34-20 home win over Emporia State in MIAA’s Game of the Week on 38 The Spot. The redshirt senior had touchdown rushes of two, three, 30 and 75 yards. He also caught one ball for 14 yards. His 75-yard scamper came on a third-and-nine play, giving the Lopers a 34-20 lead early in the fourth quarter. Harris’s 270 total rushing yards is the sixth-highest single-game rushing total in school history.
CO-OFFENSIVE ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Jordan Pachot, QB, Central Missouri
In his first start as a Mule, Jordan Pachot threw for 401 yards, going 33-of-51, to help Central Missouri defeat Missouri Western 34-26 in its MIAA opener last Saturday in St. Joseph. The senior threw for three touchdowns and ran for another to play a role in all four of the Mules touchdowns against the Griffons. His two-yard touchdown run was UCM’s first score of the game, coming at the beginning of the second quarter, which began with the Mules down 10-0. His touchdown passes were four yards to Hogan Wasson, three yards to Bo Reeves and 66 yards to Latravious Boyd.
DEFENSIVE ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Clayton Power, DL, Northwest Missouri
Clayton Power produced a game-changing interception with 4:35 to play in Northwest's seven-point road win over Missouri Southern (21-14) last Saturday in Joplin. With the Bearcats holding a 14-7 lead, Power read a screen play from the Lions and gained his first career interception at the MSSU 37-yard line. Power's interception set up Northwest with a short field and led to a 25-yard touchdown pass to Dominic Myers with 3:19 to play that gave the Bearcats a two-score advantage. Power also had three tackles on the day as Northwest limited the Lions offense to 75 rushing yards.
SPECIAL TEAMS ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Joseph Kim, K, Central Oklahoma
Joseph Kim had a big game last Saturday as No. 15 Central Oklahoma beat Washburn 34-28 in Edmond. The sophomore kicker was 2-for-3 on field goal attempts, including tying the UCO record with a 51-yard field goal in the fourth quarter to give the Bronchos the 34-28 lead. Kim also hit a 45-yard field goal as time expired in the second quarter to put the Bronchos up 24-14 at halftime. He also finished 4-for-4 on extra-point attempts and averaged 63.3 yards per kickoff on six kicks with two touchbacks.
OTHER NOTABLE PERFORMANCES:
Clayton Creasey, QB, Central Oklahoma
Clayton Creasey led No. 15 Central Oklahoma to a 34-28 win over Washburn last Saturday night in Edmond and nearly had a 300-yard game in his first career start. The redshirt freshman quarterback threw for 296 yards and two touchdowns, connecting on 22-of-32 passes. Creasey fumbled the first play of the game and threw an interception on the third play, but recovered with a big performance to lead UCO to victory. He hit Ashton Schumann 10 times for 104 yards, added a 52-yard touchdown pass to Hagen Hacker, and had a seven-yard touchdown pass to running back William Mason. Creasey also ran the ball eight times for 46 yards with a long of 41 that nearly earned him his second rushing touchdown of the season.
Elijah Morton, DE, Pittsburg State
Elijah Morton posted four tackles, including 1.5 quarterback sacks, to help lead No. 18-ranked Pittsburg State to a 31-16 victory over Fort Hays State last Saturday (Sept. 20) in Pittsburg. The Columbia, Mo., native helped the Gorillas defense force three turnovers and record four quarterback sacks in the win over the Tigers.
Marty Mormino, P, Nebraska Kearney
Marty Mormino averaged 50.0 yards in four attempts with a long boot of 58 yards in the Lopers 34-20 home win over Emporia State. The redshirt junior also saw two of his efforts land inside the Hornet 20-yard line (10-yard line and 12-yard line).
Tyler Antle, P, Pittsburg State
Tyler Antle played a key role in field position in No. 18 Pittsburg State’s 31-16 win over Fort Hays State. The Frontenac, Kan., native punted four times for a 49.8-yard average in the contest, including a career best 60-yard kick. He placed two kicks inside the Tigers 20-yard line on the afternoon.
