KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association will continue to host its postseason women’s soccer championship at the Scheels Stryker Sports Complex in Wichita, Kan., through the 2026 season.

The MIAA will host its 2025 and 2026 postseason women’s soccer championship tournaments at the Stryker Sports Complex. The venue has hosted the Association’s soccer championship for the past two seasons, with Emporia State taking home the tournament title in 2023 and Central Missouri in 2024.

"We look forward to having our championship at Stryker Sports Complex through 2026,” said MIAA Deputy Commissioner Amber Feldman. “With two years here under our belts, we have learned that Stryker is a popular destination for high-caliber soccer events in the region. The Wichita area has a lot to offer for our student-athletes and supporters to add to the overall championship experience.”

Stryker Sports Complex comprises 11 all-sports turf fields, each equipped with outdoor lighting, and a 112,000-square-foot indoor facility designed for events and all levels of competition in Wichita and the surrounding areas. The MIAA tournament matches will be played on the venue’s stadium pitch, known as the Tommy Peckham Championship Field. Tommy Peckham Field features 1,800 general admission seats, concessions, restrooms and a press box.

The top eight teams from the regular season will advance to the MIAA women’s soccer championship. The opening round matches will be hosted on the campuses of the highest seeds on Sunday, November 9, with the winning teams advancing to Wichita for the championship’s final rounds. The semifinal matches are scheduled for Thursday, November 13, with the championship match set for Saturday, November 15, on Stryker’s Tommy Peckham Field.
