KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The MIAA announced its women’s bowling athlete of the week honor. McKendree’s Hope Gramly was named as this week’s honoree. It is her first weekly award of the season from the association.
Gramly won top honors at the Big Red Invitational in Lincoln, Nebraska, which was won by McKendree. In five traditional games, she averaged 228.6. Her high game of 249 came in the Bearcats fifth and final contest. Gramly was one of four Bearcats to place in the top-10 of the final individual standings.
The win at the Big Red Invitational marked McKendree's third tournament win of the season and Gramly’s first individual crown for the Bearcats.
