KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The MIAA announced its women’s bowling Athlete of the Week honor. Central Missouri’s Katey Furze was named as this week’s honoree. It is her first weekly award from the association.

Furze joined the exclusive ranks of the 300 club at the Columbia 300 Saints Invitational. She rolled a perfect game in the second traditional match of that day against Lewis University.

Furze was named the Tournament MVP and had the highest average of any individual student-athlete at 237.17. She helped the Jennies to a 7-3 record and third place finish in the event.
