Kansas City, Mo. – Northeastern State turned in a tournament low 314 to maintain their lead after two days at the MIAA Women’s Golf Championship held at the par 72, 5,893 yard Swope Memorial Golf Course.
Central Oklahoma came in with a 324 and sits ten strokes off the lead going into the final day. Missouri Western carded a 331 on day two while Lindenwood came in with their second straight 334 of the tourney. Central Missouri is just one stroke back of the others in the pack as they round the top five teams.
Individually Sydney Roberts of Central Oklahoma carded a tournament low 76 to move into the lead at 10 over par. Dakota Limkemann of Lindenwood, who led after day one, shot a 79 and sits two strokes off the lead. Two strokes behind her is Northeastern State’s Baylee Price with Missouri Western’s Chong Yong and NSU’s Lexi Armon one stroke behind her to round out the top five.
Teams will tee off tomorrow for the final round of the tournament with teams hitting the course at 8:30 a.m.
