Nine Teams, One Individual Advance to NCAA Women's Golf Regional Championship

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The NCAA Division II Women’s Golf Committee selected the teams and individuals that will compete in the 2026 NCAA Division II women’s golf postseason. Nine MIAA teams and one individual are set to compete in the 2026 NCAA Central Region Championship, hosted May 4-6 in St. Joseph, Mo.
 
Missouri Western State University and the St. Joseph Sports Commission will host 18 NCAA Division II women’s golf teams and six additional individuals in the 2026 Central Region Championship next week at the St. Joseph Country Club. The three-day, 54-hole tournament is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. on Monday, May 4. Each of the four regional championship sites will consist of both team and individual competition conducted concurrently. 
 
Rogers State leads the MIAA as the No. 2 seed in the Central Region. Washburn enters the postseason as the No. 4 seed in the Central Region, followed by Central Missouri (No. 5 seed), Arkansas-Fort Smith (No. 6 seed), Central Oklahoma (No. 7 seed), Nebraska Kearney (No. 9 seed), Northwest Missouri (No. 12 seed), Missouri Western (No. 13 seed), and Missouri Southern (No. 15 seed).
 
MIAA fans can follow the action with live scoring provided by Scoreboard. Tee times will begin at 8 a.m. from hole 1 each day.
 
Spectators are welcome and encouraged to attend the regional championship. Admission is free each day.  No spectator carts are allowed on the golf course, as all patrons must walk.

The top five teams and the top two individuals who are not already members of an advancing team will advance to the 2026 NCAA Division II Women’s Golf National Championship, set for May 12-16 at the PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. A total of 98 participants will qualify for the national competition.
