St. Charles, Mo. – Nebraska-Kearney earned their fourth straight MIAA Tournament Championship earning 110.5 team points coming in ahead of Central Oklahoma who finished second with 71.0 team points. Newman's Dustin Reed was named the MIAA Wrestler of the Year with Central Oklahoma's David James being named Coach of the Year. Zach Stodden of Nebraska-Kearney was named the MIAA Freshman Wrestler of the Year.
 
At 125 pounds
Dustin Reed of Newman avoided landing on his back as he earned a 4-0 victory over Central Oklahoma’s Zach D’Amico. Dustin Reed jumped out with two points in the first period on a takedown. Their would be no score, other than riding time in the second period before Reed added another point in the third period with an escape. He would add one point of riding time to close out the victory. Connor Bolling of Nebraska-Kearney defeated Lawson Ludwin of Fort Hays State 9-3 to take third place.
 
At 133 pounds
Daniel DeShazer of Nebraska-Kearney earned a 7-2 victory over Hunter Haralson of Lindenwood to retain the MIAA title. Deshazer would jump out late in the first period taking down Haralson to jump out to the 2-0 lead. Haralson would then choose the down position to open the second period and grab his first point via an escape. Deshazer would then grab two more points on a takedown late in the second period. He grabbed his fifth point of the match, pushing the lead 5-0 late in the third. He then used his third takedown to build a 7-1 advantage before a quick escape made it 7-2. Blake Daupnin of Central Oklahoma defeated teammate Aaron Hane 3-1 to earn third place.
 
At 141 pounds
Keith Surber of Nebraska-Kearney earned an 18-2 technical fall over Lindenwood’s Jared Mestas for the MIAA Championship. Surber would jump out to early the lead earning a take down in the first couple seconds of the match. The action would be quick paced as Mestas earned two escapes followed by back-to-back takedowns making it an 8-2 lead for Surber. Surber would then grab some back points to jump out to a 12-2 advantage and then a 16-2 lead prior to the end of the first period. He would then push the lead out to 18-2 to earn the technical fall. Joshua Ailey of Central Oklahoma pinned Garrett Whitson of Newman in 14 seconds for third place.
 
At 149 pounds
Destin McCauley of Nebraska-Kearney squeaked out a 5-4 victory over Fort Hays State's Bradley Little to earn the MIAA Championship. McCauley earned the first points with a takedown, but the lead would only be 2-1 as Little quickly earned an escape. McCauley would open the second period by earning an escape point to make it a 3-1 lead. Little would answer the bell in the third period earning an escape to cut the lead to just one a 3-2. A point via penalty would even things up at 3-3 as the third period moved into the late minutes. McCauley would use a late takedown before allowing a late escape for the final tally. Colton Orlando of Lindenwood would earned a 16-9 victory over William Homalon of Fort Hays State for third place.
 
At 157 pounds
After no one scored in the first period Jeromy Davenport of Central Oklahoma pinned Colton Duhr of Newman at the 3:33 mark. Chase White of Nebraska-Kearney earned a 13-5 major decision win over Joey Dozier of Fort Hays State for third place.
 
At 165 pounds
It took overtime but Devin Aguirre of Nebraska-Kearney pulled out a 7-5 victory over Kyle Jolas of Lindenwood for the MIAA title. It was even through the first period as neither wrestler was able to find their way onto the scoreboard. Two escapes for Jolas and one takedown for Aguirre would lead to a 2-2 knot in the second period. Jolas would then grab another point for an escape to make it 3-2 as they went into the third period. Aguirre would regain the lead at 4-2 with a reversal in the third period. Jolas would counter with a reversal of his own to take a 5-4 lead late in the third period. Aguirre would earn one point of riding time, however, to force overtime. Aguirre would earn a takedown early in the overtime to earn the win. Daniel Carillo of Central Oklahoma defeated Allan Person of Central Missouri 13-1 to earn third place.
 
At 174 pounds
Calvin Ochs won the MIAA championship via disqualification over Archie Williams of Central Missouri. Batchuluun Zulkhuu of Lindenwood earned a 5-0 victory over Mason Thompson of Central Oklahoma to claim third place.
 
At 184 pounds
Jon Inman of Fort Hays State earned an 8-5 victory over Zach Stodden of Nebraska-Kearney to claim the MIAA title. Inman got the scoring started as he picked up two points for a takedown. Stodden would answer earning the one point escape. Inman would use another takedown to make it a 5-1 lead after earning an escape to start the second period. A reversal would earn Stodden two points before Inman escaped to make it a 6-3 lead going into the third period. Stodden opened the third period with an escape before Inman grabbed another takedown to make it an 8-4 lead. He would then allow a Stodden escape to make it an 8-5 lead. Inman would add one point via ride time to close out the match. Laurel Landals of Lindenwood finished third with a 7-1 victory over Brock Warren of Central Oklahoma.
 
At 197 pounds
Romer Cotton of Nebraska-Kearney pinned LIndenwood’s Dillon Archer at the 3:29 mark to earn the MIAA Championship. Cotton started the first period off with a takedown and then started to accumulate riding time. Cotton would earn four points of riding time for the first period and after a second period escape by Archer, grabbed another two point takedown for an 8-1 lead. Cotton earned an escape to start the third period and then took down Archer to make it 11-1 before earning the pin. Dalton Weidl of Newman took at 4-3 victory over Grant Sparks of Central Missouri for third place.
 
At 285 pounds
Kyle Factor used an escape and ride time to defeat his teammate Evan McGee 2-0 in the final match of the day. It was even wrestling between the two teammates as it sat scoreless through one period. Neither wrestler was able to find their way onto the scoreboard in the second period as well. Factor finally got the on the board in the final period using an escape to close out the victory. Nick Lovejoy of Central Missouri defeated Jacob Borgmeyer of Lindenwood 2-1 to finish in third place.
