Kearney, Neb. – Nebraska-Kearney claimed their second MIAA Tournament Championship Saturday night with a 25-19, 29-27, 19-25 and 25-18 win over Washburn.
 
For the Lopers Kendall Shroer finished with 15 kills while Annie Wolfe added a double-double with 13 kills and 11 digs. Allison Kuenle finished in double figure kills with 10 on the evening while Mackenzie Puckett added five blocks. Lindsey Smith also had a double-double with 42 assists and 11 digs while Ellie McDonnell had a game high 25 digs.
 
For the Ichabods Leanna Willer led the way with 23 kills making it a double-double with 19 digs while Kelsey Barrick had a game high nine blocks. Natalie Bates had a double-double with 24 assists and 17 digs while Shayla Conner also had 24 assists and Alyssa Carney finished with 21 digs.
 
Nebraska-Kearney claims the MIAA automatic qualifier into the NCAA Tournament while all others teams will await the selection of the rest of the field on Monday, Nov. 21 at 6:30 p.m. on ncaa.com.
