Sioux Falls, S.D. – Fourth seeded Northwest Missouri got a lay-up with two seconds to play to earn the 59-56 win over fifth seeded Minnesota State.
 
Northwest Missouri trailed by as much as 14 points in the first half and allowed just three points to MSU in the final five minutes as they sealed the win. NWMSU shot .490 from the field and got 19 points off of turnovers on the evening.
 
For the Bearcats Justin Pitts led the way with 19 points and Lyle Harris finished with 12 points. Connor Crooker who hit the last second lay-up led the way on the glass with six boards.
 
NWMSU will now face top seeded Augustana at 7:30 p.m. on March 15 from Sioux Falls, S.D.
