Sioux Falls, S.D.. – Third seeded Central Missouri staved off a second half comeback by seventh seeded Northern State to earn an 82-72 victory in the first round of the NCAA Division II Men’s Central Regional.
UCM led by as much as 14 points in the second half before
NSU cut the lead to as few as three. They shot .553 from the field and shot .500 from behind the three point line for the ballgame.
The Mules were led by
Rakeem Dickerson who had 22 points and a game high six assists. Dillon Deck had 18 points and
TJ White added 10 points while Kyle Wolf finished with 11 points and a team best seven rebounds.
Central Missouri will now face either Minnesota State-
Moorhead or
Pittsburg State at 5 p.m. on March 15 from Sioux Falls, S.D.
