Kansas City, Mo. -- The Fort Hays State women earned the first spot in the MIAA Tournament field as week 11 came to a close in MIAA basketball.

Central Missouri at Missouri Southern
WBB: MSSU 71, UCM 65
Missouri Southern trailed by six at the half, but came from behind to earn a victory at home over Central Missouri. MSSU got 26 points from their bench and scored 16 points off of turnover as they moved to 8-4 in the league this season.
 
For the Lions Sharese Jones led the way with a double-double scoring 15 points and pulling down 15 rebounds. Nicole Hartzog added 13 points Tami Morice had 10 points while Alexis Fitzpatrick dished out three assists. For the Jennies Shelby Winkelmann led the way with 20 points and Justin Prairie Chief added 10 points. Jasmine Thompson finished with a double-double scoring 16 points and pulling down 10 boards.
 
MBB: UCM 89, MSSU 79
Central Missouri shot .561 from the field as they earned a win on the road at Missouri Southern. UCM got 39 points off of their bench moved to 8-4 in the MIAA this season.
 
The Mules were led by Rakeem Dickerson who scored 22 points and Jordan Epps who added 16 points.  Brad Woodson scored 15 points, Brennen Hughes added 13 points and Kyle Wolf had 12 points. For the Lions Taevaunn Prince led the way with 20 points while pulling down nine rebounds. Lane Barlow added 18 points and four assists while Cameron Cornelius and Greg Renfroe each added 11 points.
 
Pittsburg State at Southwest Baptist
WBB: #9 PSU 81, SBU 58
#9 Pittsburg State held Southwest Baptist to just 21 first half point as they picked up a victory on the road. PSU got 42 points from their bench as they moved to 10-2 in the league this season.
 
For the Gorillas Lizzy Jeronimus led the way with 20 points while pulling down a team best eight rebounds. Kylie Gafford added 13 points, Morgan Westhoff had 12 points and Cathy Brugman finished with 11 points. For the Bearcats Ashlee Pitts had 12 points and five rebounds on the afternoon. Leann Terrill also had 12 points and five boards while Dilonna Johnson dished out five assists.
 
Central Oklahoma at Pittsburg State   
MBB:  PSU 78, UCO 61
Pittsburg State got 22 points off of turnovers they defeated Central Oklahom at home in Pittsburg. PSU shot .471 from the field as they moved to 9-3 in the MIAA this season.
 
For the Gorillas Josiah Gustafson led the way with 25 points while pulling down a team best eight rebounds. Dakota Jones added 15 points, Devon Branch had 13 points and Trevor Gregory added 10 points. For the Bronchos Jacob Strassle led the way scoring 14 points. Phillip Brown finished with eight points and Trai Jordan pulled down a team best seven rebounds.
 
Missouri Western at Lindenwood
WBB: MWSU 87, LWU 59
Missouri Western put up 48 second half points as they earned a win on the road at LIndenwood. MWSU shot .589 from the field as they moved to 4-8 in league play this season.
 
For the Griffons LaQuinta Jefferson had 23 points and Chelsea Dewey had a team best eight rebounds. Mhykeah Baez scored 15 points, Sarafina Handy had 14 points, Miliakere Koyamainavure added 12 points and Ariana Novak finished with 10 points. For the Lions Kassidy Gengenbacher scored a game high 24 points on the afternoon. On the glass Vanessa Zailo had eight rebounds and Bre Zanders added seven boards.
 
MBB: LWU 66, MWSU 57
Lindenwood shot .500 from the field as they defeated Missouri Western on their home floor. LWU also shot .500 from behind the three-point line as they moved to 9-3 in the league this year.
 
For the Lions Nick Van Osdale led the way with 15 points and Chanse Creekmur added 14 points. Sam Mader finished with a double-double scoring 13 points and pulling down 11 boards. For the Griffons Cortrez Colber led the way with 19 points, seven rebounds and four assists. Cole Clearman was also in double figures scoring 18 points on the afternoon.
 
Northwest Missouri at Lincoln
WBB: LU 66, NWMSU 56
Lincoln scored 25 points off of turnovers as they picked up the win over Northwest Missouri at home. LU added 15 second chance points as they moved to 4-8 in league play this season.
 
For the Blue Tigers Hunter Yoakum led the way with 25 points and Kayton Cole dished out eight assists. Kelsey Williams had 13 points, four rebounds and dished out three assists. For the Bearcats Ariel Easton led the way scoring 19 points, pulling down six rebounds and dished out five assists. Tanya Meyer added 15 points on the afternoon.
 
MBB: NWMSU 67, LU 57
Northwest Missouri shot .523 from the field as they earned a win on the road at Lincoln. NWMSU racked up 21 points off of turnovers as they moved to 8-4 in league play this season.
 
For the Bearcats Grant Cozad scored 14 points and Matt Wallace dished out a team best five assists. Lyle Harris added 13 points and seven rebounds and Conner Crooker finished with 11 points. For the Blue Tigers Aaron Spudich led the way with 14 points while pulling down seven rebounds. Blake Ralling added 13 points and Victor Scott finished with 12 points.
 
Fort Hays State at Washburn
WBB: #6 FHSU 62, WU 58
#6 Fort Hays State scored the final six points of the game as they held on for a win on the road at Washburn. FHSU held WU scoreless for the final 2:50 as they remained unbeaten at 12-0 in league play.
 
For the Tigers Kate Lehman led the way scoring 21 points and pulling down a team high nine rebounds. Chelsea Mason added 12 points, Jill Faxon had 11 points and Nikola Kacperska dished out five assists. For the Ichabods Taylor Ignoto led the way with 18 points an Jayna Smith pulled down a game high 12 rebounds. Casyn Buchman finished the game with 13 points and Erika Lane dished out a team best three assists.
 
MBB: WU 69, FHSU 58
Washburn held Fort Hays State to just 24 first half points as they picked up a victory at home in Topeka. WU shot .450 from behind the three-point line as they moved to 6-6 in the league this season.
 
The Ichabods were led by Kyle Wiggins who scored 20 points and Algie Key who dished out five assists. Christian Ulsaker added 16 points and pulled down a team high five rebounds. For the Tigers Achoki Moikobu led the way with 13 points and Dom Samac pulled down a team best six boards. Royce Williams and Jeremy Wilson each finished with 12 points the night.
