Kansas City, Mo. -- A two overtime game closed out the mid-week of week 13 in MIAA basketball.

Southwest Baptist at Central Missouri
WBB – #13 UCM 67, SBU 64
#13 Central Missouri got four free throws down the stretch as they held off Southwest Baptist at home. UCM took a nine-point lead into the half and held off a late charge by SBU as they moved to 11-2 in the league.

For the Jennies Keuna Flax led the way with 16 points and BreAnna Lewis pulled down a team best nine rebounds. Quinnecia Twine had 14 points while Shelby Winkelmann and Revonnia Howard each finished with 10 points. For the Bearcats Jacqui Zelenka had a double-double scoring 14 points and pulling down 13 rebounds. Brook Duncan led all scorers on the night with 20 points.

MBB – UCM 69, SBU 56
Central Missouri held Southwest Baptist to just 25 first half points as they picked up a victory at home. UCM racked up 17 points off of turnover and got 24 points from their bench to move to 10-3 in the MIAA.

For the Mules TJ White led the way with 17 points while Charles Hammork had 14 points and eight rebounds. Dillon Deck had 13 points and Daylen Robinson had 11 points and dished out seven assists. For the Bearcats Rashaad Brown-Peterson had a game high 25 points. Menas Stephens scored 12 points, Desi Barmore had eight rebounds and Preston Guiot dished out eight assists.

Central Oklahoma at Northeastern State
WBB – NSU 63, UCO 61
Fontana Tate hit a three-pointer with nine seconds to play to give Northeastern State a victory at home over Central Oklahoma. NSU shot .444 from the field while holding UCO to .333 shooting as they moved to 7-6 in the MIAA.

For the RiverHawks Tate led the way with 15 points while Mya Walker added 14 points. Carrington Fox had 10 points, eight rebounds and dished four assists on the night. For the Bronchos Jill Bryan led all scorers with 16 points. Olivia Mason finished with a double-double scoring 12 points and pulling down 11 boards.

MBB – UCO 96, NSU 94 2OT
It took two overtimes to decide by Central Oklahoma pulled out a 96-94 victory over Northeastern State at home. UCO hit seven free throws down the stretch as they moved to 7-6 in the MIAA this season.

For the Bronchos Josh Gibbs finished with a double-double scoring 24 points and pulling down 14 rebounds. Aaron Anderson and Seth Heckart scored 19 points each while Cal Andrews added 15 points. For the RiverHawks Bryton Hobbs had 35 points, nine rebounds and dished out eight assists. Michael Harmon had 23 points and Marcus Sheppard finished with 11 points on the night.

Lindenwood at Lincoln
WBB – LU 67, LWU 58
Lincoln held Lindenwood to just 22 first half point as they picked the victory at home. It was the first league victory of the season as LU moved to 1-12 in the MIAA.

For the Blue Tigers Jennifer Rosado led the way scoring 23 points and pulling down six rebounds while Lizzie Nessling added 12 points. Quiessence Price had 10 points as did Angela Randall along with a team best eight rebounds. For the Lions Kassidy Gengenbacher led the way with 17 points while Julia Hlinak pulled down eight rebounds. Marissa Lehnig had 16 points and Bre Zanders finished with 12 points on the evening.

MBB – LU 74, LWU 73
Joshua Buie hit a three-pointer with 14 seconds to play to give Lincoln the lead and victory over Lindenwood at home. It is LU’s first conference win of the season as as they got 18 points off of turnover and moved to 1-12 in league play.

For the Blue Tigers Mike Smith had a game high 31 points and pulled down eight rebounds. Buie finished with 18 points and James Edmond had 10 points on the evening. For the Lions Marcus Hinton had a double-double with 20 points and 11 rebounds. Garrett Reeg also added a double-double scoring 19 points and pulling down 10 boards.
