Kansas City, Mo. – For the first time this season in league play every team took the to the floor on the same night as week 15 came to a close in MIAA basketball.

Lincoln at LIndenwood
WBB – LWU 63, LU 56
Lindenwood erased a six-point halftime deficit to earn a victory at home over Lincoln. LWU shot .591 from the field in the second half as they moved to 9-9 in the MIAA this season.

For the Lions Jenny Rocha led the way with 17 points and six rebounds on the night. Kassidy Gengenbacher had 17 points and five rebounds while Caroline Bourlioux scored 12 points and pulled down five rebounds. For the Blue Tigers Angela Randall had 15 points, six rebounds and four assists. Hunter Yoakum added 14 points and Jennifer Rosado finished with 10 points.

MBB – LWU 82, LU 75
Lindenwood outrebouned Lincoln 49-38 as the earned a victory on their home floor. LWU held LU to just .342 shooting on the day as the moved to 6-12 in league play this season.

For the Lions Gerrett Reed had a double-double scoring 14 points and pulling down a game high 15 rebounds. Darris Smith had 19 points and five assists while Tayler Ressel scored 18 points. For the Blue Tigers Mike Smith had a double-double scoring 21 points and pulling down 10 rebounds. Mario Bass had 15 points and Greg Motleyy added 14 points.

Pittsburg State at Missouri Southern
WBB – PSU 71, MSSU 68
Pittsburg State held off a late charge from Missouri Southern to pick up a victory on the road. PSU got 20 points off of turnover while only turning the ball over nine times themselves as they moved to 14-3 in the league this season.

For the Gorillas Lizzy Jeronimus led the way scoring 26 points and dishing out six assists. Cathy Brugman added 12 points while Antqunita Reed had 10 points and pulled down eight rebounds. For the Lions Dominique Mosley had a double-double scoring 21 points and pulling down a game high 11 rebounds. Nicole Hartzog added 12 points and Sharese Jones and Shawnee Phillips each had 11 points.

MBB – MSSU 110, PSU 90
Missouri Southern went over the century mark for the second straight game as they won at home over Pittsburg State. MSSU shot .571 on the evening as they moved to 13-4 in the league this season.

For the Lions Lane Barlow and Austin Wright each had 18 points and Marquis Addison added 17 points. Greg Renfroe and Jordan Tablert each had 13 points while Cameron Cornellius had 11 points and Slim Magee added 10 points. For the Gorillas Devon Branch led the way scoring 29 points and dishing out eight assists. Jake Bullard, Connor Kjer and Ethan Cordray had 12 points while Alex Williams finished with 11 points.

Central Missouri at Southwest Baptist
WBB – #12 UCM 78, SBU 70
#12 Central Missouri hit 29 free throws as they picked up a victory on the road at Southwest Baptist. UCM scored 22 points off of turnovers while only turning the ball over nine times themselves as they moved to 15-2 in the league.

For the Jennies Keuna Flax scored a game high 30 points and Revonnia Howard pulled down a game high 16 rebounds. BreAnna Lewis finished with 13 points and five assists while Quinnecia Twine added 11 points. For the Bearcats Jacqui Zelenka led the way with 19 points and Morgan Lucy pulled down 12 rebounds. Dilonna Johnson had 11 points and four assists while Brook Duncan had 10 points.

MBB – #24 UCM 85, SBU 67
#24 Central Missouri held Southwest Baptist to just 28 second half points as they picked up a win on the road. UCM got 24 points off of turnover and shot .571 from the field as they moved to 14-3 in league play this season.

For the Mules Daylen Robinson led the way scoring 16 points and dishing out a game high eight assists. Dillon Deck had 14 points and Charles Hammork added 13 points and seven rebounds. For the Bearcats Rashaad Brown-Peterson led the way with 12 points on the night. Daniel Ogunyemi and Jaywuan Hill each had 11 points while Desi Barmore added 10 points.

Northwest Missouri at Missouri Western
WBB – MWSU 68, NWMSU 47
Missouri Western held Northwest Missouri to just 20 first half points as they earned the win at home. MWSU racked up 27 points off of turnover and got 15 second chance points as they moved to 5-12 in the MIAA.

For the Griffons Tiffanie Abrams had 25 points and Quenisha Lockett pulled down a team best seven rebounds. Sharniece Lewis had 10 points and Lanicia Lawrence dished out four assists. For the Bearcats Ashliegh Nelson had 16 points and dished out three assists. Annie Mathews had 14 points and a team best five rebounds.

MBB – NWMSU 92, MWSU 60
Northwest Missouri shot .565 from the field as they earned a victory on the road at Missouri Western. NWMSU hit 11 three-pointers shooting .579 from behind the arc as they moved to 15-2 in the league this season.

For the Bearcats DeShaun Cooper had 22 points and six assists and Dillon Starzl had 19 points and five boards. Zach Schneider had 12 points and Grant Cozad added 11 points while Kyle Schlake had a team best six rebounds. For the Griffons Kalvin Balque led the way with 19 points and seven rebounds. Ryan Devers had 18 points and a team best four assists.

Northeastern State at Central Oklahoma
WBB – UCO 69, NSU 65
Central Oklahoma held off a second half charge by Northeastern State as they picked up a win at home. UCO hit 10 three-pointers as they moved to 6-11 in the league this season.

For the Bronchos Jill Bryan scored 22 points and Olivia Mason pulled down 10 rebounds. Britney Morgan had 13 points and Julia Mason added 12 points and eight boards. For the RiverHawks Fontana Tate had a double-double scoring 18 points and pulling down 10 rebounds. Kate Bellamy had 14 points and added eight rebounds.

MBB – UCO 63, NSU 56
Central Oklahoma outrebounded Central Oklahoma 38-28 as they picked up a victory at home. UCO shot .478 from the field as they moved to 11-6 in the MIAA this season.

For the Bronchos Josh Gibbs led the way scoring 16 points and pulling down nine rebounds. Aaron Anderson scored 15 points and Seth Heckart dished out five assists on the evening. For the RiverHawks Bryton Hobbs had 15 points and pulled down five rebounds. Marcus Sheppard added 14 points and Landon DeMasters pulled down six rebounds and dished five assists.

Nebraska-Kearney at Fort Hays State
WBB – FHSU 81, UNK 53
Fort Hays State put up 41 points in the first half, while allowing Nebraska-Kearney just 26 in a win at home. FHSU scored 31 second chance points and 22 points off of turnover as they moved to 10-7 in the MIAA.

For the Tigers Kate Lehman had a double-double scoring 26 points and pulling down a game-high 12 rebounds. Chelsea Mason had 13 points and Kerlann Shaw pulled down 10 rebounds. For the Lopers Nicole Arp was the only scorer in double figures finishing with 19 points and three assists. Shelby Zimmerman was in double digits on the glass with 10 rebounds on the afternoon.

MBB – FHSU 78, UNK 72
Fort Hays State got 25 points from their bench as they picked up a victory at home over Nebraska-Kearney. FHSU shot .571 from the field in the first half and held on to move to 12-5 in the MIAA this season.

For the Tigers Jake Stoppel had 18 points and pulled down eight rebounds while Craig Nicholson had 17 points and seven rebounds. James Flemming had 13 points and Carson Konrade had 10 points on the afternoon. For the Lopers Mike Dentlinger led the way with 22 points and added eight rebounds. Ethan Brozek had 20 points and six boards and Davion Pearson had 11 points.

Washburn at Emporia State
WBB – #7 ESU 70, WU 53
#7 Emporia State held Washburn to 16 points and .158 shooting in the first half as they earned a win at home. ESU shot .508 from the field and scored 22 points off of turnover as they moved to 16-2 in the MIAA this season.

For the Lady Hornets Merissa Quick had a double-double scoring 13 points and pulling down 11 rebounds. Kiona Kellog had 13 points and Laura Patrick added 11 points while Rheanna Egli dished out eight assists. For the Ichabods Honor Duvall was the only player in double figures with 15 points on the night. Brittney Lynch led the way on the glass pulling down nine rebounds.

MBB – ESU 88, WU 76
Emporia State scored 50 second half points as they won the Turnpike Tussle at home over Washburn. ESU scored 21 second chance points and shot .500 from the field as they moved to 10-8 the MIAA.

For the Hornets Kaleb Wright led the way scoring 30 points and Terrence Moore added 18 points. Paul Bunch had 16 points and pulled down nine rebounds while Gavin Brown finished with 14 points. For the Ichabods Leon Flowers had 15 points and Ale North pulled down nine rebounds. Kyle Wiggins scored 14 points and Korey Fisher dished out five assists.
