Kansas City, Mo. – Central Oklahoma swept Lincoln as the first week of in-league play came to a close in MIAA basketball.

WBB: UCO 93, LU 66
Central Oklahoma got 24 points off of turnovers and 16 second chance point as tey won at home over Lincoln. UCO shot .547 from the field and .526 from the three-point line as they moved to 2-0 in league play.
 
For the Bronchos Haley Weathers and McKenzie Solberg led the way with 14 points each and Chelsea Robinson had 12 points. Kylie Mayes and Olivia Mason each had 11 points as Mason dished out a team best six assists. For the Blue Tigers Seleena Neal led the way with 15 points and Kayton Cole and Dorian Briggs added 12 points each. Jasmine Guthrie had 11 points and on the glass Kate Frazier had 12 boards.
 
MBB: UCO 93, LU 70
Central Oklahoma shot .556 from the field as they picked up a victory at home over Lincoln. UCO got a strong 36 points off the bench as they are now 2-0 in the MIAA this season.
 
For the Bronchos it was Cal Andrews and Jacob Strassle leading the way as they each scored 14 points. Mahlon Jones added 13 points, Seth Heckart had 12 points and Phillip Bornw finished with 10 points. For the Lions Joshua Buie and Mike Smith tied for the game high with 21 points each. Blake Ralling added 15 points while Buie finished with four steals.
