Duluth, Minn – Seventh seed Washburn fell 3-0 (22-25, 26-28, 21-25) to second seed and defending national champion Concordia St. Paul in the opening round of the NCAA Division II Central Regional Tournament.  

The Ichabods were led by Leanna Willer who had a double-double with 12 kills and 13 digs. Marissa Cox added 10 kills and three block assists to the effort on the afternoon.
 
Natalie Bates led the way with 36 assists while Alyssa Carney finished with 13 digs and Matt Ann Swenson had four blocks.
 
Washburn is eliminated from the NCAA Tournament and finish with a 24-7 overall record.
