Kansas City, Mo. – Washburn swept Central Oklahoma as the mid-week came to a close in MIAA basketball for week eleven.

WBB – WU 65, UCO 59 OT
Washburn came from behind to force overtime and defeated Central Oklahoma at home. WU outrebounded UCO 46-35 as they moved to 6-3 in the MIAA this season.

For the Ichabods Taylor Ignoto led the way with 16 points and Brittney Lynch pulled down nine rebounds. Honor Duvall had 15 points, Kara Lee had 12 points and Casyn Buchman added eight rebounds. For the Bronchos Julia Mason had a double-double scoring 19 points and pulling down 10 rebounds. Olivia Mason also had a double-double as she scored 10 points and added 13 boards.

MBB – WU 76, UCO 69
Washburn outscored Central Oklahoma 14-7 in the final 6:18 to pick up a victory on their home floor. WU shot .458 from the field as they moved to 6-3 in league play this season.

For the Ichabods Jeff Reid had a double-double scoring 17 points and pulling down 13 rebounds. Alex North also had a double-double with 17 points and adding 10 rebounds while Leon Flowers had 15 points. For the Bronchos Aaron Anderson had 19 points and four assists. Seth Heckert had 13 points, Philip Brown had 10 points and Josh Gibbs pulled down eight rebounds.
