Kansas City, Mo. – Northwest Missouri swept Northeastern State as the teams made up a game that was postponed for weather and closed out week nine.

WBB – NWMSU 57, NSU 51
Northwest Missouri outscored Northeastern State 8-2 in overtime as they picked up a victory at home. NWMSU racked up 44 rebounds while allowing NSU just 29 as they moved to 2-5 in league play.

For the Bearcats Annie Mathews had a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Ashley Nelson and Monique Stevens each finished with 14 points on the night. For the RiverHawks Jamie Jackson led the way with 16 points and Sarah Sagely pulled down seven rebounds. Fontana Tate had 10 points an added five rebounds and four steals.

MBB – NWMSU 85, NSU 65
Northwest Missouri shot .530 from the field as they picked up a victory at home over Northeastern State. NWMSU hit 11 three-pointers as they moved to 6-1 in the league this season.

For the Bearcats Conner Crooker scored 20 points and Zach Schneider hit five three-pointers for 19 points. DeShaun Cooper had 12 points and Dillon Starzl and Grant Cozad each had 11 points. For the RiverHawks Bryton Hobbs scored 16 points and dished five assists. Dalen Qualls scored 15 points and Marcus Sheppard had 10 points while Keon Littleton pulled down six rebounds.
