Kansas City, Mo.  – It took extra innings for host and top seeded Minnesota State-Mankato won 4-1 in ten over Missouri Western in the Central Regional.
 
For the Griffons Nate Ramler went two for four on the afternoon. David Chew drove in and scored the only Missouri Western run with a home run in the second inning. Jerad Hawkins worked 9.2 innings allowing three earned runs.
 
Missouri Western is eliminated from the NCAA tournament.
