Kansas City, Mo. – Washburn and Lindenwood split the final game of week seven as MIAA basketball heads into the holiday break.

Lindenwood at Washburn
WBB – LWU 85, WU 80
Lindenwood took a 16-point lead into halftime as they held on to pick up a win on the road at Washburn. LWU shot .500 from the field and .500 from behind the three-point line as they moved to 3-1 in league play.

For the Lions Kassidy Gengenbacher led the way with 23 points and Morgan Johnson added 12 points. Jenny Rocha had 16 points, seven assists and six rebounds on the afternoon. For the Ichabods Casyn Buchman led the way with 27 points, nine rebounds and five assists. Taylor Ignoto had 23 points and Honor Duvall added 14 points to the effort.

MBB – WU 82, LWU 64
Washburn took a 19-point lead into halftime and would not look back as they picked up a victory at home. WU was 11 of 20 from behind the three-point line as they moved to 3-1 in league play.

For the Ichabods Alex North led the way with 18 points and eight rebounds. Kyle Wiggins had 12 points while Chris Deanes and Stephon Drane each scored 10 points. For the Lions Darris Smith had 19 points and Michael Boos added 15 points. Tyler Ressel finished with 10 points and Brandon Marquardt had six points.
