Kansas City, Mo. – The Southwest Baptist women’s cross country team placed 12th in the nation at the NCAA Division II Championships.

Jessica Macy of Pittsburg State earned All-American status and was the national runner up as she finished in 21:02.10 to come in just behind the winner of the race.

On the men’s side the MIAA squads ran in a pack as Nebraska-Kearney finished in 17th, Missouri Southern in 19th and Central Missouri in 21st overall.

Adam Volkert of Pittsburg State ran a 30:23.20 to finish in seventh place overall and earn All-American status. Tyler Stuber of Central Missouri also finished in 35th to earn All-American status.
