Taylor Savolt was hired as the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association's first Assistant Director of Student-Athlete Development on August 1, 2024. 

A former MIAA student-athlete and NCAA Division II All-American, Savolt earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Fort Hays State University and was a member of the Tigers women’s track and field team from 2019 to 2024.

A multi-athlete, Taylor was a seven-time All-MIAA performer and twice earned All-America honors in the 400-meter hurdles, placing eighth in the event at the 2023 and 2024 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field National Championships. She was also named a three-time All-Academic Award recipient by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

Following her undergraduate degree, Savolt was hired as the Director of Marketing for Total Athlete Profile where she helped develop the TAP App – a mobile application that helps high school student-athletes grow their athletic and academic resume to connect with college coaches and begin to build an NIL profile. Savolt also worked on campus as a graduate teaching assistant while pursuing a master’s degree in business administration at Fort Hays State.
