The Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA) is an NCAA Division II conference and a higher education Association, committed to providing opportunities to student-athletes for personal growth, skill development and college graduation.
Bring Your A Game
The MIAA is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization, with a Board of Directors comprised of the 14 university presidents and chancellors. The Association's mission is to promote high standards for academic and athletic performance, as institutions help student-athletes reach their full potential as informed, productive adults with a lifelong commitment to learning and service.
W.E. C.A.R.E (Wellness, Education, Compassion, Athletics, Respect, Engagement)
MIAA schools offer students a "balanced collegiate experience" through high academic expectations, a commitment to community engagement and rigorous athletics competition. Members of the MIAA share the belief that competitive physical activities, conducted in a wholesome educational environment, have value for individuals, universities and communities. The MIAA helps prepare students, through their athletic experience, to be engaged in their communities and to be leaders in their chosen professions.
