The Membership Success
Considered to be one of the best conferences in all of NCAA Division II, the MIAA has claimed
58 team national championships and over 400 individual national titles. The Association won at least one national championship every season from 2008-09 to 2023-24. In the span of national dominance, 33 national titles were won including five teams going undefeated.
Academically, the MIAA has produced hundreds of Academic All-America and Academic All-Districts selections. Forty-seven MIAA student-athlete has won the NCAA’s Elite 90 Award as the top student-athlete in their national championship. View all MIAA Elite 90 Award winners.
Each member of the Association has been regarded as one of the top academic institutions in the region. The MIAA membership has over 108,000 students enrolled in undergraduate and graduate programs.
