#2 Emporia State vs. #3 Pittsburg State
Second seeded Emporia State will meet #3 Pittsburg State on March 7 at 8:15 p.m. in the final semifinal of the day.
 
Emporia State advanced with a 77-60 win over Missouri Western and enter the semi’s averaging 73.1 points and allowing 55.0 points per contest. The Lady Hornets are led by Kelly Moten who is averaging 15.0 points, 5.1 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game. Merissa Quick is averaging 11.6 points and 6.7 rebounds while Addie Lackey is averaging 10.4 points and 3.1 assists per contest.
 
Pittsburg State defeated Central Oklahoma 78-71 to earn a slot in the semi’s and now average 74.3 points while allowing 56.7 points per contest. The Gorillas are led by Lizzy Jeronimus who is averaging 19.0 points and 6.8 rebounds per game. Kylie Gafford is averaging 10.5 points and 5.5 rebounds per contest and Antqunita Reed is averaging 5.1 boards per game.
 
The winner will advance to play in the MIAA Championship on March 8 at 3:30 p.m. from Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City.
