#3 Pittsburg State vs. #6 Central Oklahoma
Third seed Pittsburg State will play #6 Central Oklahoma at 8:15 p.m. on March 6 in the quarterfinal round of the MIAA Women’s Basketball Tournament.

Pittsburg State enters the tournament averaging 74.2 points while opponents are scoring 58.3 points per contest. The Gorillas are led by Lizzy Jeronimus who is averaging 19.0 points, 6.8 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game. Kylie Gafford is averaging 10.6 points and 5.6 rebounds per game this season.
 
The Bronchos made it to the quarterfinal with a win over Nebraska-Kearney and average 66.1 points while allowing 61.2 points per contest. They are led by Haley Weathers who is averaging 11.3 points and Olivia Mason with 5.2 rebounds per contest. Julia Mason is averaging 10.6 points while Chelsea Robinson is dishing out a team best 3.0 assists per game.
 
The winner will face either #2 Emporia State or #7 Missouri Western at 8:15 p.m. on March 7 from Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City.
