#2 Emporia State vs. #11 Southwest Baptist
Second seeded Emporia State will face off with #11 seed Southwest Baptist in the semi final round at 2:15 p.m. on March 8 from Municipal Auditorium. For the Lady Hornets unanimous first team All-MIAA selection Laura Patrick is averaging 14.1 points per game. Merissa Quick is averaging 11.9 points and 7.3 rebounds while Desiree Wylie averages a team best 7.4 rebounds per game.
 
For the Bearcats Jacqui Zelenka is leading the way averaging 14.6 points and 8.3 rebounds per game. In their win over Pittsburg State Lissette Plasencia had 18 points and Alex Botkin scored games final five points.
 
The winner will advance to the MIAA Championship Game at 1 p.m. on March 9 from Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City, Mo.
