#4 Fort Hays State vs. #5 Central Oklahoma
Fourth seed Fort Hays State will face off with fifth seeded Central Oklahoma in the quarterfinal round at 2:15 p.m. on March 7 from Municipal Auditorium. The Tigers are led by first team All-MIAA selection Craig Nicholson is averaging 17.7 points and 7.5 assists per game. Dwayne Brunson is averaging 16.7 points and 7.9 rebounds per game while Carson Konrade is averaging 13.1 points per contest.  
 
The Bronchos are led by first team All-MIAA selection Josh Gibbs who is averaging a double-double scoring 21.1 points and pulling down 11.4 rebounds per game. Aaron Anderson is averaging 14.0 points, Cal Andrews 11.5 points and Seth Heckart 11.1 points per contest.  
 
The winner will face the winner of #1 Central Missouri/#9 Northeastern State in the first of two semi-finals at 6:00 p.m. on March 8 from Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City, Mo.
