#3 Pittsburg State vs. #11 Southwest Baptist
Third seed Pittsburg State will face #11 seed Southwest Baptist in the quarterfinal round at 8:15 p.m. on March 6 from Municipal Auditorium. The Gorillas are led by unanimous first team All-MIAA selection Lizzy Jeroinums who comes into the weekend averaging 18.8 points and 6.6 rebounds per game. Cathy Brugman is averaging 9.4 points per game and shooting .474 from behind the three-point line.
 
The Bearcats are led by Brook Duncan who comes to Kansas City averaging 15.0 points and 5.2 rebounds per game. Joining her in double figures is Jacqui Zelenka who is averaging 14.5 points and 8.3 rebounds per contest.
 
The winner will face the winner of #2 Emporia State/#10 Southwest Baptist in the second of two semi-finals at 2:15 p.m. on March 8 from Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City, Mo.
