#5 Fort Hays State vs. #12 Nebraska-Kearney
Fifth seeded Fort Hays State will host #12 seed Nebraska-Kearney in the opening round on March 3 at 7 p.m. from Hays, Kan. Heading into the post-season the Tigers are led by Kate Lehman who is averaging a double-double with 16.8 points and 11.4 rebounds. Chelsea Mason is averaging 12.8 points per game and Katelyn Edwards is averaging 11.8 points and 7.8 rebounds per contest.
 
Heading into the post-season the Lopers are led by Amarah Williams who is averaging 13.6 points and 6.8 rebounds per game. She is joined in double figures by Shelby Zimmerman who is averaging 12.4 points and 8.4 rebounds per contest.
 
The winner of the game will advance to face fourth seeded Missouri Southern on Thursday, March 6 at 2:15 p.m. from Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City, Mo.
