Seventh seeded Emporia State will travel to second seed Northeastern State to open the 2013 MIAA Tournament.
The RiverHawk attack is led by Elizabeth Cudjoe who has seven goals and five assists. Renee’ Valcarcel has six goals to go along with one assist and Lindsey Latt has three goals and four assists. Between the pipes Jordan Woodruff has played 1,648 minutes with a 0.60 goals against average and 84 saves while recording 10 shutouts.
The Hornets offense is led by McKenzie Koch with four goals and Tommi Bouknight with three goals and two assists. Both Jordan Foutch and Bridget Wages have three goals and one assist this year. In goal Yadira Rivera has played 1,456 minutes with a 0.80 goals against average with 92 saves and eight recorded shutouts.
The winner of the match will advance to face the winner of Southwest Baptist/Lindenwood at 7 p.m. on Nov. 8 from College Boulevard Activities Complex in Olathe, Kan.
