Fifth seeded Emporia State will travel to fourth seeded Central Oklahoma in the first round of the MIAA Volleyball Tournament.
For the Bronchos Barbara Jackson is leading the attack by averaging 3.59 kills per set. Taylyn Schwartz has taken over as the team’s primary setter and is averaging 8.46 assists per set. Tate Hardaker leads on the return averaging 5.84 digs per set and Juliette Smith is averaging 1.17 blocks per set.
For the Hornets on the attack Carly Spicer is averaging 2.62 kills and Paige Vanderpool 2.49 kills per set. In a two-setter system Sydney Hartman is averaging 5.47 assists and Macki Pankratz 5.20 assists per set. On the return Kelley Holden is averaging 4.34 digs per set and Courtney Haring is averaging 1.17 blocks per set.
The winner of the match will face the Pittsburg State/Central Missouri winner on Nov. 22 at the highest remaining seed.
