Kansas City, Mo. -- Third seeded Central Missouri will face sixth seeded Northwest Missouri in the opening round of the MIAA Volleyball Tournament. The two teams have faced off twice this season with the Jennies taking the first set 3-0 over the Bearcats. For UCM Carly Sojka had 13 kills and hit .300 for the match. For NWMSU Brooke Bartosh had nine kills to lead her team. Central Missouri took the second meeting 3-1 on the road in Maryville, Mo. For the Jennies Bradye Peniston led the way with 12 kills and Brooke Bartosh and Abby Graves had 12 kills each to lead NWMSU. On the season for UCM Bradye Peniston is hitting .346 nd averaging 3.34 kills per set. Julia Bates is leading the team with an average of 10.63 assists per set and Annie Reilly is averaging 4.93 digs per set. For the Bearcats Brooke Bartosh is leading the team averaging 3.06 kills per set. Dallas Gardner is averaging 6.97 assists per set while Tori Beckman is averaging a league best 6.02 digs per set. The two teams will face off at 7 p.m. on Nov. 13 from the Multipurpose Building in Warrensburg, Mo.
