Third seeded Truman will host an opening round match-up with sixth seeded Fort Hays State. TSU enters the tournament led by Trisha Shoemaker who has nine goals and three assists and Kelsey Twellman who has five goals and three assists. Melanie Hunt leads the team with seven assists and Alexis Heffernan has five goals and one assist. In goal Emily Bozdeck is 11-4-1 with a 0.62 goals against average and 10 shutouts. FHSU enters the postseason led by Jordan Hester with seven goals and four assists and Sade Humphrey who has six goals and three assists. Alexis Aiman leads the team with seven assists and has added four goals on the year. In goal Nicole Barnaba has a 0.73 goals against average and four shutouts.
