Top seeded Central Missouri will play host to #8 seed Southwest Baptist in the opening round of the MIAA Women's Soccer Tournament. The two teams met early this season in Warrensburg with the Jennies scoring the only second half goal to pull out a 2-1 victory. Nicki Wisnasky and Alexis Robbers scored for the Jennies while Kate Jamison scored off an Ashley Creason pass for the Bearcats. UCM enters the tournament led by Alexis Robber who has eight goals and Beck Lackey who has six goals and two assists. Kayla Shain has three goals and four assists and Carly Stanley has three goals and two assists. In goal for the Jennies Morgan Hartzler is 5-0-1 since returning to the line-up with a 0.30 goals against average and four shutouts. SBU comes into the postseason led by Karla Jamison who has five goals and Ashley Creason who leads the team with five assists and has two goals scored. Kate Jamison has added two goals and two assists to the effort. SBU's strength has been on defense this year as Megan Link has a 1.05 goals against average and five shutouts. The match is slated for a 7 p.m. kickoff from the South Recreation Complex in Warrensburg, Mo.
