Six Teams, Two Individuals Advance to NCAA Men's Golf Regional Championship

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The NCAA Division II Men’s Golf Committee announced the teams and individuals advancing to the 2026 NCAA Division II men’s golf postseason. Six MIAA men’s teams and two individuals will compete in the 2026 NCAA Central/Midwest Regional Championship, hosted May 7-9 in Big Rapids, Mich.
 
Ferris State University hosts 20 teams and eight individuals at the 2026 NCAA Division II Men’s Golf Central/Midwest Regional Championship at the university’s Katke Golf Course. The three-day, 54-hole tournament is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. on Thursday, May 7.
 
Central Oklahoma leads the MIAA as the top seed in the Central Region. Central Missouri enters the postseason as the No. 2 seed in the region, followed by Washburn (No. 4 seed), Pittsburg State (No. 6 seed), Missouri Western (No. 9 seed), and Arkansas-Fort Smith (No. 10 seed). Cooper Scheck of Fort Hays State and Nathan Biais of Northeastern State are the league’s two student-athletes who qualified individually for the regional tournament.
 
Tee times will begin at 9 a.m. from hole 1 each day. MIAA fans can follow the action with live scoring provided by Scoreboard. Admission to attend the Central/Midwest Regional is free to all fans and spectators.
 
At minimum, the top three teams and the top two student-athletes not with a team from each regional will advance to the finals, May 18–22 at the Boulder Creek Golf Club in Boulder City, Nevada. The remaining eight team berths will be allocated based on the regions represented in the prior year’s head-to-head medal play portion of the championships, with the maximum number of teams from a given region capped at seven. The finals will be hosted by the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority.
