2026 All-MIAA Women's Soccer Teams & Postseason Awards Announced

10/30/2026 11:00:00 AM

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association announced its All-MIAA teams and postseason award winners for its 2026 women’s soccer season. Sixty MIAA student-athletes from all 13 MIAA women’s soccer institutions received postseason honors in the 2026 season, highlighted by the Association’s five major award winners.

Forty-two MIAA women’s soccer players earned All-MIAA recognition, with 18 others named Honorable Mention selections. Washburn, the 2026 MIAA regular season champion, led the league with 11 postseason honors, followed by Pittsburg State with nine All-MIAA selections and Central Missouri with eight.

Emporia State’s Ella Favot was crowned the 2026 Offensive Player of the Year. The sophomore forward from Thunder Bay, Ontario, totaled 12 points (five goals, two assists) against MIAA opponents in the regular season and tied for the most overall individual points in the league with 22 (eight goals, six assists). Favot is the first Hornet to be named the MIAA Offensive Player of the Year since Emporia State’s Mackenzie Dimarco in 2023.

Washburn’s Avery McCorry was named the MIAA Freshman of the Year after leading the Ichabods to the program’s third regular season title in the past four seasons. The first-year forward from Wichita, Kansas, tied with Emporia’s Favot for a MIAA-leading 22 points (10 goals, two assists) in the regular season.

Pittsburg State collected the remaining three major postseason honors with Adelynn Phipps named the Defensive Player of the Year, Jocelyn Kramar named the Goalkeeper of the Year, and Head Coach Wes Branstetter named the 2026 Coach of the Year.

Phipps, Kramar, and the Gorillas defense have only allowed two gaols all season, helping Pitt State to an undefeated record in the regular season (13-0-5, 7-0-5 MIAA). Kramar, a junior from Fort Collins, Colorado, started all 18 games in goal for the Gorillas and owns an MIAA-leading goals against average (.12), save percentage (.955), shutouts (11) and wins (13). She's the first Gorilla to be crowned the MIAA Goalkeeper of the Year since Pitt State's women's soccer program first started in 2022.

Gorillas Head Coach Branstetter is the league's first back-to-back Coach of the Year since Central Missouri's Lewis Theobald in 2022 and 2021. In three years leading Pittsburg State, Branstetter has achieved a 35-12-9 (.705) overall record, helping the Gorillas claim the MIAA regular season crown in 2025 and advancing to the first NCAA Division II National Tournament appearance last fall.

All 60 MIAA women’s soccer postseason award honorees are listed below.

The top eight teams from the regular season advanced to the 2026 MIAA Women’s Soccer Championship, led by the top-seeded Ichabods. Quarterfinal matches are scheduled to begin this Sunday, November 1, with the four winning teams advancing to the championship’s final rounds at the Stryker Sports Complex in Wichita, Kansas, November 6 and 8.
