New MIAA Men's Indoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week Presented by Beynon

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association has announced its second Track and Field Athletes of the Week from the 2025-26 men’s indoor season, presented by Beynon – the official track surface of the MIAA. Northwest Missouri’s Aziz Mohammed was named the Track Athlete of the Week and Washburn’s Adam Wooldridge was named the Field Athlete of the Week.  
 
INDOOR TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Aziz Mohammed, Northwest Missouri
Aziz Mohammed became the first Bearcat to break the four-minute mark in the indoor mile as he set a school record with a time of 3:59.76 at the 2026 Coach Alsup Invite, held by the Bearcast at Hughes Fieldhouse in Maryville last Saturday (Jan. 17). His time ranks as the 17th-best all-time indoor mile mark in NCAA Division II history and is currently the third-best time in the nation this season.
 
INDOOR FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Adam Wooldridge, Washburn
Adam Wooldridge captured first place in the pole vault at the Washburn Rust Buster last Friday (Jan. 16) by clearing 5.10 meters (16-8.75). His mark ranks No. 7 on this season’s NCAA Division II performance list.
 
NOTABLE TRACK PERFORMANCES:
Rawley Chard, Central Missouri
Rawley Chard won the men's 400-meter dash at the Coach Richard Alsup Open on Saturday (Jan. 17) in Maryville, Mo., posting a provisional time of 47.32. That time is the third-fastest indoor 400-meter time in NCAA Division II this season. 
 
NOTABLE FIELD PERFORMANCES:
Drake Willenborg, Missouri Southern
Drake Willenborg won the men's weight throw title at Washburn’s Rust Buster meet on Friday, Jan. 16. He posted a personal-best throw of 19.45 meters (63-9.75) for the title. 
 
Zachary Proctor, Central Missouri
Zachary Proctor captured the men's high jump title at the Coach Richard Alsup Open Saturday (Jan. 17) in Maryville, Mo. The junior cleared a provisional and personal-best height of 2.07 meters (6-09.50), which ranks in the top 20 in NCAA Division II this season.
