INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The University of Central Missouri is one of eight teams to advance to the final rounds of the 2025 NCAA Division II College Baseball World Series, hosted May 30 through June 7 in Cary, North Carolina.

Central Missouri downed Pittsburg State in the best-of-three NCAA Super Regional to advance to the final rounds of the NCAA Division II baseball national championship for the second straight season and 21st time in program history. The action begins Friday, May 30, at the USA Baseball National Training Complex in Cary, N.C.

The Mules (43-11) earned the No. 2 seed in the championship’s final rounds and will face No. 7 seeded Northwood University (40-20) at 1:30 p.m. CST on Friday. The game was originally scheduled for 5 p.m. CST but was moved up due to inclement weather in the Cary forecast.

It will be the first-ever meeting between the Mules and Timberwolves. If Central Missouri defeats Northwood on Friday, the Mules will play next at 5 p.m. CST on Sunday, June 1. If the Mules lose to the Timberwolves, they will play at 12:30 p.m. CST on Sunday.
