INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Central Missouri, Central Oklahoma and Pittsburg State will represent the MIAA in the 2025 NCAA Division II postseason. The trio advanced to the NCAA Regional Championship rounds with the Mules claiming the No. 1 seed in the Central Region and hosting privileges.
Three MIAA baseball teams heard their names called during the NCAA Division II baseball selection show on Sunday evening (May 11). Sixteen campus sites will host double-elimination regional tournaments May 15-18, leading into best-of-three super regionals May 22-24. The eight super regional winners move on to the 2025 NCAA Division II Baseball World Series, hosted May 30 - June 7 in Cary, N.C.

Central Missouri was awarded the top seed in the Central Region and will host three opponents in a regional tournament at Crane Stadium/Tompkins Field in Warrensburg, Mo. The Mules (38-11) open the regional at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 15, against No. 8 seed Harding (39-17).
No. 4 seeded Central Oklahoma will join the Mules in Warrensburg. The Bronchos claimed the league’s automatic qualifier into the postseason after taking home the tournament title at the 2025 MIAA Baseball Championship. Central Oklahoma (36-15) will take on No. 5 seed Arkansas Tech (32-21) on Thursday at 6 p.m. in Warrensburg.

Pittsburg State earned an at-large bid into the NCAA postseason and the No. 3 seed in the Central Region. The Gorillas are headed North to Mankato, Minn. for the regional tournament hosted by No. 2 seed Minnesota State in Sioux Falls, S.D. Pitt State (39-10) will take on No. 6-seeded Henderson State at 2 p.m. on Thursday. No. 7 seeded Arkansas-Monticello was the final Central Region team to advance. The Weevils (32-21) will take on the host Mavericks (49-6) at 6 p.m. on Thursday at the ISG Field in Sioux Falls.
