KANSAS CITY, Mo. –
Lily Allman of Missouri Southern State University was selected as the “A Game” Scholar-Athlete of the 2025 MIAA Women’s Golf Championship. This is Allman’s second consecutive “A Game” Scholar-Athlete honor, also earning the award at the Association’s 2024 postseason tournament.
All 12 women’s golf teams are in Kearney, Neb., this week for the 2025 MIAA Championship hosted by the University of Nebraska Kearney at the Meadowlark Hills Golf Club. Among the field of 69 NCAA Division II women’s golfers competing in the championship, Missouri Southern’s Lily Allman was honored as the Association’s “A Game” Scholar-Athlete, presented by
Mammoth.
Established by the MIAA in 2022, the Mammoth “A Game” Scholar-Athlete Award acknowledges the overall excellence of a student-athlete by recognizing one individual who has contributed to their team’s success while also achieving the highest academic standard among peers. The student-athlete honored with the “A Game” Scholar-Athlete Award must be an active member of a qualifying team and must have a minimum of two terms completed at the institution.
Allman is a senior from Anderson, Mo., on the Lions women’s golf team. She’s an education major with a perfect 4.0 grade point average and 135 credits completed. She’s also Southern’s top golfer this season with a scoring average of 76.4 through nine events (21 rounds). Allman has placed within the top five in two events throughout the 2024-25 season and entered the MIAA postseason tournament as the No. 12-ranked golfer in the league.
Allman is the sixth MIAA student-athlete to earn back-to-back "A Game" Scholar-Athlete awards and just the second Missouri Southern student-athlete to earn the honor.
