INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Three MIAA women’s basketball teams advanced to the NCAA Division II Central Region Championship, hosted by the top-seeded Gorillas March 14-17 in Pittsburg, Kan.
Pittsburg State, Fort Hays State and Missouri Western were each awarded top seeds in the 2025 NCAA Division II Central Region Championship. Pitt State – the MIAA’s regular season and tournament champion – earned the top seed and hosting privileges.
The Gorillas will host eight teams in their John Lance Arena in Pittsburg, Kan. The first-round games will begin at noon on Friday, March 14, followed by the regional semifinal contests on Saturday, March 15. The Central Region Championship game is set for 7 p.m. on Monday, March 17.
Pitt State (29-3) will be the No. 1 seed, Fort Hays State was awarded the No. 3 seed (27-4) and Missouri Western (20-9) earned the No. 4 seed. The official Central Region schedule and matchups are listed below.

online. All tickets are general admission: $10 for an adult single-session and $3 for a student single-session (youth aged 5-17 and college students with school identification).
