INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association was awarded over 100 entries in the 2025 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field National Championship. Ninety-seven MIAA student-athletes and eight MIAA relay teams qualified for the indoor nationals, hosted March 13-15 in Indianapolis, Ind.
The MIAA had 52 individuals and five relay teams qualify for the men’s 2025 Division II indoor National Championship while 45 individuals and three relay teams advanced to the women’s championship. This year's NCAA DII indoor track and field championships run from Thursday, March 13, to Saturday, March 15, at the Fall Creek Pavilion at Indiana State Fairgrounds, Indianapolis. The 2025 championships mark the first time indoor nationals is held in Indy.
Twenty-eight MIAA athletes qualified for two events while three Pitt State men qualified for three events apiece – Dapriest Hogans, Mason Strader and Nate Wilson.
Pittsburg State led the league with 38 national qualifiers (21 women, 17 men). The Gorillas’ men’s and women’s 4x400 meter relay teams and distance medley relay teams also qualified for Indy. The Gorilla men are the two-time defending indoor national champions while the Gorilla women finished second at the 2024 indoor championship.
